Effective October 1, 2026 · Version 2026-10-01
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of ChaseQueue. They are intended for business and commercial users. By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or using ChaseQueue, you agree to them for yourself and, if applicable, the business or organization you represent.
ChaseQueue is a registered trade name in Alberta, Canada. These Terms form an agreement between you and the operator of ChaseQueue ("ChaseQueue," "we," "us," or "our"). If local law gives you rights that cannot legally be waived or limited, those rights continue to apply.
1. Business use, eligibility and authority
ChaseQueue is offered for business and professional use, not personal, family or household use. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you use ChaseQueue for a company, partnership or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may not access or use ChaseQueue where doing so would violate applicable law, sanctions, export controls or other legal restrictions.
2. What ChaseQueue does
ChaseQueue helps businesses schedule and send follow-up messages relating to quotes, estimates, proposals and invoices, track replies and outcomes, and manage follow-up workflows. ChaseQueue is not an accounting system, legal service, law firm, debt collection agency, credit reporting agency, payment processor, escrow service or financial adviser.
ChaseQueue does not guarantee that a recipient will receive or read a message, reply, accept a quote, purchase, pay an invoice, or take any other action.
3. Accounts and account security
You must provide accurate information, keep your account details current, protect your login credentials and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may require email verification, security checks or additional information where reasonably necessary to protect ChaseQueue, other users, recipients or the public.
4. Your customer data and business records
You retain your rights in the customer information, quote and invoice information, message content, notes, templates and other business data you submit to ChaseQueue ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, transmit, format and otherwise process Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the operation and reliability of the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You represent that you have the rights and lawful authority needed to provide Customer Data to ChaseQueue and instruct us to process it. You are responsible for the accuracy of Customer Data and for keeping recipient contact details current.
5. Data processing terms for Customer Data
For personal information about your customers or recipients that you submit to ChaseQueue, you generally determine why and how that information is used. To the extent applicable under data-protection law, you act as the controller, business or equivalent responsible party, and ChaseQueue acts as your processor, service provider or equivalent provider when processing that information to deliver the Service.
Your use of ChaseQueue constitutes your documented instruction for us to process Customer Data as necessary to provide, secure, maintain and support the Service and as otherwise required by applicable law. When ChaseQueue acts as your processor or service provider, we will:
- process Customer Data only for the Service, your documented instructions, security, legal compliance and other purposes permitted by applicable processor/service-provider law;
- require personnel with access to Customer Data to be subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service and the data processed;
- reasonably assist you, taking into account the nature of our processing, with privacy-rights requests, security-incident obligations and information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance where the law requires that assistance;
- notify you of a confirmed personal-data breach affecting Customer Data without undue delay where applicable law requires processor notification;
- delete or return Customer Data following termination or a valid request, subject to normal backup rotation and legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-retention requirements;
- not sell Customer Data or use it for our own cross-context behavioural advertising.
You give ChaseQueue general authorization to use subprocessors for hosting, authentication, network delivery, email delivery, payments, security, support and related operations. We remain responsible for selecting providers appropriate to the Service and for imposing applicable confidentiality and data-protection obligations on them. Our current provider categories and key providers are described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your instructions and use of ChaseQueue are lawful and for responding to requests relating to the underlying customer relationship. If we believe an instruction violates applicable data-protection law, we may pause the affected processing and ask you to clarify or modify the instruction.
6. Messaging, consent and legal compliance
You decide who is contacted, why they are contacted, what is sent and when a chase begins. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ChaseQueue and your messages comply with all laws and rules that apply to you and your recipients, including privacy, electronic messaging, anti-spam, direct marketing, consumer protection, debt collection, unfair practices, quiet-hours and industry-specific requirements.
This includes obtaining any consent or other lawful basis required to contact a recipient, providing legally required sender identification or disclosures, honoring opt-outs and objections, and stopping automation when a dispute, complaint, payment arrangement or other circumstance requires human handling.
ChaseQueue's default templates, timing suggestions and product guidance are operational tools, not legal advice. You must review them for your own business and jurisdiction.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use ChaseQueue to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk marketing, phishing, scams, threats, harassment or deceptive messages;
- contact purchased, scraped, harvested or unlawfully obtained lists;
- impersonate another person or business, conceal the true sender, or misrepresent the purpose of a message;
- collect or pursue debts in a manner that violates applicable collection, consumer or licensing laws;
- send malware, malicious links, illegal content or content that infringes another person's rights;
- probe, attack, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or its security;
- circumvent usage limits, billing controls, access restrictions, rate limits or anti-abuse systems;
- use the Service to create or facilitate unlawful discrimination, fraud or other illegal conduct.
We may investigate suspected abuse, throttle sending, block recipients or domains, suspend automation, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect recipients, delivery reputation, infrastructure or legal compliance.
8. Sensitive and regulated information
ChaseQueue is not designed as a repository for highly sensitive or specially regulated information. Do not enter payment-card numbers, bank login credentials, passwords, government identification numbers, protected health information, medical records, biometric data, criminal records, information about children, or other sensitive data unless the Service expressly supports that use and we have agreed to it in writing where required.
ChaseQueue is not represented as compliant with specialized regulatory regimes such as HIPAA, PCI DSS storage requirements, or sector-specific recordkeeping obligations merely because the Service uses security safeguards.
9. Automation and human review
ChaseQueue can automatically schedule and send follow-ups based on the dates, settings, templates and status information in your workspace. Automation can make mistakes when source information is wrong, a recipient's circumstances change, a reply occurs outside the system, or a third-party service is delayed.
You remain responsible for reviewing active chases, pausing or stopping inappropriate messages, resolving disputes and maintaining accurate records. Features that detect replies, payment states or delivery failures reduce manual work but are not guaranteed to identify every real-world event.
10. Email delivery and recipient replies
Email delivery depends on third-party networks, recipient mail systems, sender reputation, spam filtering, DNS, inbox rules and other factors outside our control. A message marked accepted, sent or delivered by a provider does not guarantee that a human saw it.
ChaseQueue may stop or pause a chase after a detected reply or delivery failure, but you should not rely on automation as the sole record of your relationship with a customer.
11. Free allowance, trials and promotions
ChaseQueue may provide a limited free allowance, trial, promotional code, discount or other introductory benefit. Unless we state otherwise, these offers are limited, non-transferable, may be changed or withdrawn for future use, and have no cash value. We may prevent abuse, duplicate accounts or attempts to repeatedly obtain introductory benefits.
The current public offer may include the first 10 chases free without a payment card. The product and pricing page control if that offer changes.
12. Paid plans, currency, taxes and automatic renewal
Current plan pricing, billing frequency and included features are shown before purchase. If ChaseQueue displays different currencies by country, the price and currency confirmed at checkout govern your subscription. You authorize our payment provider to charge the payment method you supply for recurring fees and applicable taxes until cancellation.
You are responsible for taxes, duties, levies or similar governmental charges associated with your purchase, except taxes based on our net income. Prices may change for future billing periods with notice where required by law.
13. Cancellation, failed payments and refunds
You may cancel through the billing controls provided in your account. Unless checkout or mandatory law says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and previously charged fees are non-refundable.
If payment fails, a subscription expires, or you cancel, ChaseQueue may stop automated sends or limit paid features in accordance with the product's billing rules. We may provide a short grace period or recovery window, but are not required to do so unless applicable law requires it.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ChaseQueue at any time. We may suspend, restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, harmed delivery reputation, failed to pay, abused a free offer, or used the Service in a way that could harm recipients, ChaseQueue or third parties.
Where practical and appropriate, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to cure non-urgent issues. We may act immediately for fraud, security incidents, unlawful conduct, serious abuse or urgent risk.
15. Availability, maintenance and changes
We work to keep ChaseQueue reliable, but the Service is provided over the internet and may be unavailable, delayed or degraded. We may perform maintenance, modify features, introduce limits, replace providers, correct errors, or discontinue features or the Service.
We will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing paid functionality without notice, but emergency, security, legal or provider-related changes may happen without advance notice.
16. Third-party services
ChaseQueue depends on third-party providers for functions such as cloud hosting, network delivery, authentication, email delivery, payments and analytics. Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes or acts beyond our reasonable control, although we remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
17. Confidentiality and security
We treat non-public Customer Data as confidential and use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect it. We may access or disclose Customer Data to personnel and providers who need it to operate or support the Service, when you instruct us, when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, or when required by law.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using reasonable security practices on your own devices, accounts and recipient lists.
18. Intellectual property
ChaseQueue's software, design, branding, documentation, templates created by us and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
If you voluntarily provide feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.
19. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when operating ChaseQueue. It also explains the different role we generally play for account information versus personal information you upload about your own customers.
20. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHASEQUEUE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND QUIET ENJOYMENT, TO THE EXTENT THOSE WARRANTIES MAY LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, inbox placement, recovery of revenue, legal compliance of your messages, recipient responses, payment outcomes or the accuracy of information supplied by you or third parties.
21. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHASEQUEUE AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST BUSINESS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CHASEQUEUE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) CAD $100.
These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits the limitation, including for liabilities that legally cannot be excluded or limited.
22. Your indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless ChaseQueue and its operators, affiliates, personnel and suppliers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your Customer Data, your messages, your relationship with recipients, your violation of law or these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by ChaseQueue's own breach of these Terms, gross negligence, willful misconduct or other liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.
23. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as major internet or cloud outages, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labour disruption, widespread cyberattack, utility failure or provider failure, except that this does not excuse payment obligations already due.
24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under local law, courts located in Alberta, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact hello@chasequeue.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
25. General legal terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, any checkout terms and any written order or addendum we both accept form the agreement governing the Service. If a specific written order or addendum conflicts with these Terms, that document controls only for the subject it expressly covers.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, except as part of a bona fide merger, reorganization or sale of substantially all of your business assets. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition or sale of the Service or substantially all related assets.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities and dispute terms.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as ChaseQueue, applicable law or our business changes. We will post the updated version and effective date. If a change materially affects existing paid users, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable or legally required. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; when required, we will ask you to affirmatively accept updated Terms.
27. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@chasequeue.com. Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.
